Cognitive Verbs Poster Pack

These handouts or posters can be used as a reference guide for students. There is a black and white version that could save ink and be printed on coloured paper, or a water coloured version of each. These are ideal to use as handouts when focusing on a particular verb for students to glue into their books, or as a poster to display in your classroom to refer back to.

As of 2019, Cognitive verbs will replace the Common Curriculum Elements in the new QCE system. These verbs are the foundation of all assessment in the new system. Understanding the cognitive verbs will be vital to student success. Each verb has been broken down into student friendly language to assist students' understanding, therefore ensuring they can suceed.
 
These now include American and UK/ Australian spelling!
