Independent Research Tasks

This is the perfect independent task for students to practice their researching, note taking and presentation skills.
 
Students can either use a computer, books or iPad to research and note take on the different topics. Students are then able to create a PowerPoint presentation of their information. There is a template of how each slide should look to print out as a guide for them, as well as a poster template.
 
The topics are:
- famous person
- famous place
- animal
- ancient civilisation
- endangered animal
- famous astronomer
- biome
- planet
